Milchhof Zinna
A family farm owned by our VDJ Vice Chairman Jurgen Kouwert.
A herd still in transition to a 100% Jersey, still some exotic ones left over.
250 cows, 250 heifers on 180ha.
Milked with a 24 rotary.
On the farm is a dairy and farm shop, selling milk, cheese, yogurts, butter and cream cheeses in multiple variations. Also Jersey meat from their jersey oxen is sold directly to the costumers.

Owned by the Pon family. Known for Alta genetics, Farms across Europe and mobility business.
Total off 850 cows, 800 heifers on 2 farms with 4300 Ha. all organic.
The barn that we going to visit is build in 2021 and holds 500 jersey' milked with 8 lely robot's.
Agrargesellschaft Schöbendorf
A cooperative farm with multiple owners, typical for the eastern part of Germany. Co owned and managed by our VDJ chairman Rainer Schmitt.
400 cows, 400 heifers on 500 ha, half of this is pasture.

Linked to the farm is also a farm shop with jersey meat and a dairy for cheese specialties.
